When We’re Apart

What is it about being separated for a length of time that makes us understand how much we love and are loved!
I have had an incredible opportunity to help out a friend by accompanying him to Baltimore, MD so that he could donate his kidney at Johns Hopkins Medical facility (more about that in another post).
The trip was to last for 8 or 9 days, however do to some complications my friend needed another surgery and we are still in Baltimore. We left on the 27th of April, here it is May 9th and we are looking at potentially 3 more days!
Oh how we take for granted our time together! I miss my dear “Sweet Annie” and long to be with her.
“God, please help me not to take for granted the time I have to spend with those I love!”
